We use AI tools in all our products whenever they are useful. This includes code, graphical assets, text, translation, and planning support. Not every part of every product uses AI, but AI is a regular part of our workflow.
For us, AI is a tool, like a game engine, digital art software, or a modern coding tool. Humans still make the creative and product decisions. We choose direction, review output, edit it, test it, and decide what ships.
We use AI because we are a small independent studio. It helps us move faster, test more ideas, and build features that would otherwise be too slow or too expensive for us. This lets us make better and more complete products.
We are going to keep using AI in our current and future product lines.
We understand there are real concerns around AI. Economic concerns about jobs, ecological concerns about energy use, and sociological concerns about culture, trust, and power are all important. Many concerns are valid. Some may not be solved in our lifetime.
These are broad societal issues. They need work from governments, companies, researchers, workers, and communities.
If you are ideologically against AI usage, we respect that. 100% human made products will likely be a big category in the future.
Our products are not in that category. We use AI and we will keep using AI. If this is a deal breaker for you, please avoid buying our products.
