TAB player list mockup

Currently it looks like that.

I would like to remove at least the last line of text and turn it into maybe a symbol and a simple "online/max" counter. But I haven't figured out yet where to place it and exactly what it should look like.

Then I've been thinking that perhaps the TAB list should have profession/rank/info field below the user names. I might add that into the design at some point.

Why does it say that some people are not shown?

I had this idea that to know people's names you would have to actually meet them and introduce yourselves to each other increasing the immersion of the UI elements a bit.

Those people you have marked show up at the top of the list. They are not friends necessarily, it's just a feature for when you wish to see at a glance if someone is online or not.

Other features would be the ability to lock the TAB list to display it permanently. Normally it would just hide itself when you release the TAB key but tapping right CTRL once would lock it. Tapping right CTRL again would release the lock.

Server owners could configure/remove the TAB list, give people colors, custom titles, images - possibly with animation support and hide people from the list and statistics.

And if allowed by the server the players could mark themselves as invisible so that their name is not shown on the TAB list. Players could also mark themselves as AFK, either automatically (by inactivity) or through a command - if allowed by the server - and you could see that they are AFK from the TAB list.

I also have other features planned for the TAB list but I think those that I already mentioned were the most important ones.
